Mirco Friedrich is a research group leader at HI-STEM gGmbH and German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ). By integrating synthetic immunology, genome editing, and AI-driven bioengineering, his lab develops innovative strategies to reprogram the human immune system for cancer prevention, enhanced immune resilience, and healthy aging. By rapidly translating scientific discoveries into transformative therapies for patients, his lab works toward a future where cancer and aging are no longer inevitable.
